Option A: Organization Hosted Live Workshop
Our 3-hour workshops (hosted virtually or in person) translate MI knowledge gained from the self-guided learning modules into effective practice. The workshops support adult learning by providing a dynamic and engaging experience for participants with personalized feedback from experienced MI trainers.
Option B: Join Our Quarterly Live Virtual Workshop
To assist in translating new MI skills into practice, coaching from experienced trainers will be offered quarterly for participants who have completed the online course.

Chris recently worked as Residential Director for Highfields Inc.’s residential treatment facility that provides behavioral services to adolescent males throughout Michigan. Chris currently works as a School Mental Health Coordinator with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Chris is a seasoned Motivational Interviewing trainer and assists human service professionals in working with resistant clients to change maladaptive behaviors across the United States.

Chris served as a Family Counselor, Clinical Manager, and Residential Director of Highfields Inc. Chris currently works at Possibilities for Change providing coaching and support for staff and school-based health centers and provides Motivational Interviewing trainings for professionals across the United States.
Jordyn is a lifelong learner and educator. After completing her bachelor’s degree she began blending her interest in intentional communication with Motivational Interviewing in her career. She has worked in various education sectors including higher education and K-12 and completed her Master’s Degree in Education from Michigan State University where she researched Motivational Interviewing in the college setting and used MI in practice in student conduct and student health and wellness roles. Jordyn now serves as a 4th grade teacher in the Metro Detroit area and uses MI to support student success in and out of the classroom.

Teen Speak provides parents with effective, real-world communication strategies to reduce youth risk factors and build strong family relationships. Teen Speak can be facilitated in many ways to meet the needs of your participants – as workshops, book clubs, lunch and learns, one on one – you choose what works best.
