We have the good fortune of working side-by-side with some of the most incredible professionals working with adolescents in a variety of settings, such as middle and high schools, hospitals, health clinics, school-based health centers, juvenile centers, university dorms, and state and national youth serving organizations.
Check out the top five things professionals are saying about RAAPS!
- “I used to dread coming up with a way to discuss at risk behaviors. The RAAPS gives me a way to not only bring it up, but identify risky behaviors that warrant intervention.”
… - “Since using the online version, I receive more “risky” answers than when I was verbally asking.”
… - “Organized in a way that is easy to review and counsel on risk behaviors. Online version allows for tracking to be used for future needs assessments and targeting adolescents for group discussions.”
… - “RAAPS puts sensitive topics right out on the table for discussion and helps teens feel more comfortable discussing topics that impact greatly on their overall health.”
… - “RAAPS is an easy way to assess for a range of behaviors that would be difficult to ask about in a more open-ended format without taking a great deal of time.”
…
Share your success story about using RAAPS! We all know that the best way to improve practice and inspire each other in our work is through sharing stories of tackling tough topics, identifying hidden risks, and making a difference. We would like to invite you to share your story in a virtual networking session – over a cup of coffee. But since we can’t get together “live”, you can submit your success stories in the “Tell Us Your Story” tab on the RAAPS homepage. We’ll email you a $5 Starbucks card as a small token of appreciation for your time and your stories will be shared in future RAAPS communications (anonymously of course) for others to learn from and be inspired by.
Here is to an inspirational week!
