FAQ: How is Confidentiality/Security Maintained?

Have you used the online RAAPS system and wondered how the security and confidentiality of your data is maintained? There are some key things you should know about how data is stored in our web system.

1.  Adolescent names are never stored in the system, only a registration number.

2.  Clinic users only have access to the data from their own clinics.

3.  The adolescent survey is a separate area of the RAAPS system application, so adolescents have no access to any part of the RAAPS system other than the survey question pages.

All access to the RAAPS web server is secured against eavesdroppers with industry standard SSL. The web server is secured with PHP, MySQL, and SSL encryption in order to host the RAAPS system.  Possibilities for Change has partnered with Rackspace to power RAAPS risk behavior screening tool in a safe, secure, and compliant hosting solution.
