New 2013 data from RAAPS risk assessments of over 21,000 American youth – most from underserved areas – reveals startling (and often hidden) risks that threaten the health and safety of our teens. For example:
- 25% of surveyed adolescents struggle with anger management
- 1 in 5 were bullied or harassed in the last month, and
- 13% have carried a weapon for protection (just over 1 out of every 10 youth surveyed!)
